Łukasz Surowiec is a Polish interdisciplinary artist, sculptor, performer, video maker and author of social actions. He studied at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. In his actions, the artist examines current social relations and also tackles historical and political issues. He often devotes his works to relations towards and within excluded or marginalized groups. He has had several high-profile solo exhibitions, including at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Toruń and the Kunsthalle in Bratislava.
