„Arteszka“ lives in Berlin, originally from Warsaw, Poland. She graduated in pedagogy from Warsaw University in 2008. When it comes to art she is a self-taught person. Her journey as a collage artist flourished in 2021. She presents her collages mainly on my Instagram account @arteszkaa. She started with analog collages using contemporary fashion magazines. Finally, she decided to use my Photoshop skills and combine old photos with her favorite paintings. In April 2022 five of her collages were chosen to be a part of the collective collage exhibition in Warsaw organized by Galeria Przechodnia – Art inSpire vol.5. Starting last year (2023) her works are being presented on Berlin Collage Platform (Instagram), as well as in the 12th edition of Contemporary Collage Magazine (United Kingdom). In September 2023 her collages were presented in Milan, Italy, during the Art & Fashion Week 2023 by Passepartout Gallery. In January 2024 two of her collages were presented in the Artemida gallery in Milan, Italy in the collective exhibition "Metamorfosi".
Artistic statement: "For me, collage is a journey between dimensions. It starts with an idea in my head and, through the creative process, often ends up in a place that surprises me myself. It is a journey to myself as well – I interweave each portrait with my emotions. As a highly sensitive person and woman, I give myself strength with my art and these are often my personal affirmations.“
