Monika Kwarciak is a painter by passion and an engineer by education. She creates paintings using natural, hand-prepared pigments mainly from clays, sands, rocks, ashes, herbs and acrylic paints. She has been painting for over 7 years and her paintings have appeared in auction houses in Wrocław, Bydgoszcz and Warsaw. They are characterised by their unique texture and colours, but the most beautiful thing is always their story. The artist has always valued the uniqueness of what we have at our fingertips. She captures the soil from under the construction site of her dream house or the sand from her most beautiful holiday on canvas and makes art out of it. Her paintings are all about history, emotions and memories. It is a respect for nature and how many textures, smells and colours it can create on canvases.
