Monika Przychodzińska graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Wrocław University of Technology, majoring in Architecture and Urban Planning (2008). She has been creating ceramics for about 12 hundred years - at first developing her passion under the supervision of dr Łukasz Karkoszka in CK Agora in Wrocław, and later creating her own atelier. In her ceramic sculptures, she prefers a simple, sometimes minimalist form bordering on architecture and organicism. The artist tries to use the natural properties of clay such as colour and structure, emphasising the variety and contrast of textures through the contact between clay and glaze. For several years Monika Przychodzińska has been actively participating in ceramic plein-air workshops, perfecting herself in Raku firing.
