Rejmund Ziemski is a Polish illustrator and painter. In 1955, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, obtaining a diploma in Artur Nacht-Samborski's studio, then working at the same university as a professor. His debut took place in 1955 at an exhibition at the "Arsenal". He was affiliated with the Crooked Circle Club Gallery in the late 1950s and early 1960s, beginning to show an interest in color and texture in his work. In the middle of the same decade, Ziemski created Triptychs made of human faces. His characteristic feature is that he titles and marks his works in cycles with a numbered image broken by the year's date. In 1979, he was awarded the Jan Cybis Prize. His paintings are in the collections of, among others, the National Museums in Warsaw, Cracow and Poznań, as well as many other collections in Poland and abroad.
