Ryszard Woźniak is a Polish painter, performer, installation artist and art theoretician. He graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he taught painting technology in the 1980s. Since 1982, Woźniak has been associated with Gruppa, co-editing its magazine and being an active participant in almost all of its actions. In 1986, the artist was on a scholarship in West Berlin. Since 1992, Ryszard Woźniak has been running a painting studio at the Department of Art and Visual Culture of the University of Zielona Góra.
