Tadeusz Łapiński is a Polish artist. He studied painting and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He lived in the USA from the end of the 1960s, teaching at the University of Maryland. He most often created lithographs, experimented with color; he created original solutions in the field of color graphics workshop. He received awards for his work both in Poland and abroad, including the UNESCO Prize in 1965 and the Gold Medal at the Lausanne Biennale four years later. Łapiński's work has been exhibited in major American galleries and museums, including the Museum of Modern Art.
