Waldemar Marszałek is a Polish painter, who studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (now the Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdańsk in the field of graphic design. He obtained his diploma in the atelier of Professor J. Krechowicz (1985). He has had over 30 individual exhibitions and participated in over 200 group exhibitions at home and abroad. The artist's works are characterized by a fairy-tale, slightly melancholic and oneiric atmosphere. Marszałek admits to an ongoing fascination with the old masters (including the masters of the Italian Renaissance).
