Włodzimierz Terlikowski (b.1873 Poraj - d.1951 Paris) | 1624

Włodzimierz Terlikowski was a Polish painter connected with École de Paris. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and in Paris in the atelier of Jean-Pierre Laurens. He created exotic landscapes, city views, as well as portraits, still lives and floral compositions. In his paintings, the viewer will see strong, saturated colours and a thick texture. The Centre Georges Pompidou has a large collection of the artist's works. He was an important figure in the Polish artistic colony on the Seine.
