Zbigniew Woźniak is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where he studied at the Faculty of Glass and Ceramics from 1974 to 1979. He obtained his diploma in glass design from Prof. Zbigniew Horbowy and an annex in painting from Prof. Stanisław Rodziński. The artist works in painting, satirical illustration and ceramics. He has had more than 40 solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad and has taken part in more than 200 group exhibitions. For his works he has received more than 80 awards and distinctions both in Poland and abroad, including the "Green Laurel", "Golden Pin", 4th prize at the International Salon de la Caricature - Montreal, a special award at the Art Festival Cartoons in Tokyo, the Grand Prix Satyrykon in Legnica or the honorary award of the European Caricature Centre in Belgium. The artist was awarded the bronze medal "Gloria Artis" for services to Polish culture.
