A wonderful, collector's metalwork made in St. Petersburg in the goldsmith's workshop of the master Илья Каторский / Ilya Katorskin in 1899-1908 (the workshop operated in the years 1882-1908). Silver of attempt 84 decorated with wonderful, multicoloured cellular enamel with floral motifs. The enamel itself in six unusual, very vivid colours creates an amazing riot of colours. A very rare shape, supported on an oval foot, the body itself with a slightly flattened form, a very large bowl measuring 9 x 8 cm. The silver is very impressive live, it is big and heavy; length 14.5 cm, height 5.8 cm, weight 160 grams. On the bottom there is a hallmark for the city of Saint Petersburg used in the years 1899-1908 and the workshop mark of a goldsmith's master in the form of a monogram "И.К" - Илья Каторский. The general condition of the shoe is perfect, no damage to the enamel, no signs of repairs or interference, the original gilding glow is visible. Silver deliberately untreated, natural patina of time preserved.
