A collectable drinking vessel made in 1908 in one of the most prominent goldsmiths' workshops, Maria Ivanova Sokolova. Kowsz is made of sterling silver, and decorated with wonderful cellular enamel in floral motifs. Silver not cleaned, the natural patina of time deliberately left. Length 6.80 cm, weight 38 grams. On the underside and on the handle one can see the Moscow hallmark for silver of sample "84" from 1908-1917 (at the same time 1908 was the last year in which Sokolova ran her workshop) and the workshop mark in the form of the monogram МС - Мария Ивановна Соколова (Maria Sokolova). Good state of preservation, the enlargement shows a trace of enamel coating repair (photo).
