An exclusive set of magnificent silverware made of sterling silver in the London workshop of George William Adams in 1867. The silver in its entirety originally gilded, decorated with Bacchanalia motifs entirely devoted to the Putt's lavish revelry. The cup shows four different scenes of play, the cutlery openworked, stylised as vines full of abundant grapes. Silver, thick-walled, heavy, total weight 525 grams. Wine cup height 13.4 cm, cutlery length 21.5 - 18.5 cm. On each of the silver pieces are visible the English hallmarks of the city of London with the date letter 1867 and the goldsmith's workshop mark in the form of the monogram "GA" - George William Adams, goldsmith active between 1840 and 1883.
