Jerzy Dymitruk (born 1960)
He studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He obtained his diploma in 1986 in the studio of prof. Juliusz Joniak. He also studied at the Faculty of Graphics, where he received a diploma with honors in the rotogravure workshop of prof. Andrzej Pietsch. The artist deals with painting, graphic arts, illustration and book design. Jerzy Dmitruk, apart from a series of paintings, also creates graphic series: "The Seeder of the Harvest", "The Life of a Painter", "Mission", "Trees of revelations", "Home", "Garden of first love". One of the artist's areas of activity is also the graphic design of books, e.g. "Goodbye, do tomorrow" - poetry by Wisława Szymborska, "When I meet you, what I'll tell you" - poetry by Mirosław Czyżykiewicz, illustration for the Holy Bible, "Explain to me, love" - poetry Ingeborg Bachmann, "Elegies from Tymowskie Góry" - poetry Jan Polkowski. Jerzy Dmitruk is a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and Art and a scholarship holder of the President of the City of Krakow.
