A beautiful, extremely elegant tray made of sterling silver in Warsaw between 1920 and 1931. The edge of the rim is decorated with a tape with motifs of palmette rosettes, the profiled, solid ears. A tray of the highest craftsmanship in the manner of Warsaw goldsmiths of the 19th century, characteristic of works by Malcz or Nast. It was probably made in the inter-war period as an individual order of the wealthy, e.g. as a second tray in an existing original by one of the above-mentioned goldsmiths. At the bottom is the Warsaw hallmark for "3" silver from the years 1920-1931, an auxiliary hallmark and the goldsmith's workshop mark in the form of the monogram "ZB". Identification of the goldsmith himself is very difficult due to the complete destruction of the goldsmith's archive/collections/lists during the German extermination operations in the capital during the Second World War. The tray is very stable, straight with dimensions; 60 x 37.5 cm, weight 2420 grams. It is in perfect condition, without any signs of repair, straightening or any interference. There are micro scratches on the mirror, natural patina of time.
