Name
'Cmielow' Porcelain Tableware Plant in Cmielow

'Cmielow' Porcelain Tableware Plant in Cmielow is a pre-war company nationalised after World War II whose origins date back to as early as 1790. Throughout the years of its existence, the factory was owned by the Drucki-Lubecki family, where special attention should be given to Aleksander Drucki-Lubecki who led the factory to flourish. The 'Cmielow' Porcelain Tableware Plant is extremely important for the development of Polish design, as in the late 1950s and early 1960s it produced innovative ćmielów figurines that stood out not only for their unusual form and decoration, but also for their technology.
