Maria Ivanova Sokolova
Name
Maria Ivanova Sokolova

Maria Ivanovna Sokolova ran her workshop in Moscow from 1886 to 1908 and was considered one of the most prominent jewelers of her time, comparable to masters such as Fabergé, Morozov, and Sazikov. Her silver works are highly sought after by collectors worldwide, and her enamel pieces are valued higher than those of the aforementioned jewelers. Sokolova's workshop became famous primarily for its exceptional enamel creations, which were regarded as some of the finest examples of artistic craftsmanship of that era.
