In 1929, the factory passed from the Bing family into the hands of a businessman, Robert Tietzt, who wanted to produce tableware and decorative objects. Unfortunately, the factory was not favoured by the current economic situation - the global crisis caused major financial problems in the factory, which forced Tietz to close the factory in 1932.
