The factory was founded in 1920 by Christian Dürrbeck and Heinrich Ruckdäschel. It produced popular crockery and trinkets given as gifts, which proved to be a great success for the factory. The factory was very successful until 1955. From th en on, due to a lack of agreement on the part of the management, the quality of the products began to decline, forcing the closure of the factory in 1962.
