Dawid Wincenciak is an interdisciplinary artist, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, majoring in intermedia. He worked on his degree piece Homo Deus Artifex under the supervision of supervisor Bogdan Achimescu, PhD. In his creative work, he places the main emphasis on expression, symbolism, sentimentalism and biomorphic representation of human nature. He describes his paintings as follows: "These figures, these unveilings are flowers growing in their own rhythm of their danse macabre. Forgotten by others, forgetting others, they place the pedestal of their presence in a desolate space."
In 2021/2022, the artist held a year-long artist residency at the Anotati Schola Kalon Texnon in Athens, where he held two solo exhibitions under the direction of Panos Charalambous. At the end of 2022, the opening of his solo exhibition at the Beautiful Dog Club entitled 'Unfulfilled Character Study' took place. In 2016, he was one of three winners of the national competition 'Skrytykuj'. At the same time, he sat on the youth jury of the Off Camera festival, during which he awarded the film "Demon" in the Polish film category and "Bodkin Ras" in the foreign film category.
In addition to his active artistic activity, he works as a freelancer in video editing/editing. The last project he worked on was based on archive films from the early 1940s to the late 1980s. He is a passionate cook and confectioner.
