Eugeniusz Gerlach is a Polish painter, whose characteristic feature is abstract style that he uses to express realistic themes. His works can be considered as cubist and informalist. Gerlach's most famous feature is usage of a thick line that composes "stained-glass" composition. In 1966 he graduated in Painting and Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In the same year, he joined the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. The artist has taken part in more than 100 exhibitions, including both group and individual ones.
