Jan Pruski is a Polish painter, graphic artist, sculptor and installation artist. His work is exceptionally diverse, he uses many of the techniques he has developed himself. He has participated in many exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including the show of the Institute of Polish Culture in Berlin (1995), 2 exhibitions in Paris, as well as an individual exhibition in Warsaw at the Kuratorium "Było, jest i będzie" (2013) and in the show "Pruski" at Fibak Gallery (2014). He paints to understand life, which is incomprehensible. "If you think you are getting close to understanding a thousand more questions come along". In his art he tries to solve the problem of the impossibility of cognition. "There are always more questions than answers, which means there can always be more paintings."
