Joanna Śmielowska-Jaremin (b.1973 Częstochowa) | 4505

Joanna Śmielowska-Jaremin is a Polish visual artist. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań at the Faculty of Painting, Graphics, and Sculpture. She defended her diploma in Professor Zbigniew Lutomski's Wood Engraving Studio in 2000. She works in painting, drawing, illustration, and animation. She has participated in national and international painting exhibitions. She co-created the full-length painting animations “Your Vincent” and “The Peasants” directed by Dorota Kobiela. Currently, she is working on the production of an animated documentary film directed by Anna Piasek-Bosacka and a computer-animated painting 'A Winter's' Journey' directed by Alex Helfrecht.
