Katarzyna Cibora graduated from the XXXIV Miguel de Cervantes Secondary School in Warsaw, in a class with an original visual arts programme. She has a degree in cultural studies and library science, and works as a librarian on a daily basis. She attended the Open Academy classes at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has taken part in numerous courses and plein-air painting workshops, including in Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula, Ustka, Gawrych-Ruda, Tarnow Jezierny and Długosiodło. She has exhibited her works in group and post-gallery exhibitions.
She paints mainly in oil on canvas, but is also familiar with other painting and drawing techniques. Her favourite themes are portraits and landscapes painted outdoors. She is also interested in book and press illustration.
