Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian painter, draughtsman, sculptor, architect and engineer. His skill and intelligence embodied the ideal of Renaissance humanism. He is the author of the most famous paintings in the world: ,,The Last Supper'' (1495-1498) and ,,Mona Lisa'' (1503). Very famous in Poland is the painting "Lady with an Ermine", which is in the collection of the National Museum in Krakow. He worked in Milan at the court of the Sforza family and at the court of Francis I. He spent the last three years of his life there. He spent the last three years of his life there, where he died in 1519.
