Marian Nowiński was a painter and graphic artist, professor of plastic arts. He graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Nałęczów, then studied history of art at the Catholic University of Lublin, and later took up studies at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He obtained his diploma in 1974 in the field of graphic design and painting. In 1992, he was awarded the title of professor. He worked as a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art and was the founder and dean of the Faculty of New Media Art at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.
