Paulina Odenius was born on January 1846, in Brink, Lund. She was a Swedish visual artist who studied under the portrait and landscape painter Fredrik Krebs, developing her unique style in landscape painting. Her work predominantly features atmospheric depictions of hilly terrains, often inspired by scenes from Kullaberg.
Odenius participated in many prestigious exhibitions, including the Swedish Art Exhibition in Hälsingborg in 1903, as well as the Skåne Art Association exhibitions in 1914 and 1916–1920. Her works are represented in the collections of the Museum of Cultural History in Lund.
In 1867, she married Professor Maximilian Victor Odenius. Paulina Odenius passed away on May 14, 1921, in Lund and was buried in the Northern Cemetery of the city.
