Piotr Paraniak is a Polish artist. He graduated from the University of Arts in Poznań, where he obtained a diploma with honours in easel painting and art criticism, promotion and pedagogy. He has participated in many group and individual exhibitions at home and abroad. He has presented his works, among others, at K.E.O. Gallery (Athens), Brick Line Gallery (London), Galeria u Jezuitów (Poznań), AFF - Art Fresh Festival (Warsaw), Warsaw Off Art (Warsaw), International Festival of New Art lAbiRynT in Słubice and Frankfurt (Oder). Co-organiser and editor of the Art Fresh Festival in Warsaw, conservator of painting, sculpture and architecture, author of numerous articles on art, educator. In his works, he juxtaposes the characteristic gestures of his hands with figures entangled in various relationships. They create a peculiar narrative, building and relieving tension. Tethered and dependent on each other emotionally and physically, fighting and supporting each other.
