Stefan Papp was an outstanding artist, theoretician and creator of culture. He studied at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, in the atelier of Professor Xawery Dunikowski and Professor Wanda Ślędzińska. In 1996, he obtained his doctoral degree at the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology. From 1979 to 2001, he taught at the Faculties of Design and Architecture of the Fachhochschule in Münster (Germany). In 2002, he led a design seminar at the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He has worked in sculpture, collage, printmaking, object and satirical drawing, artistic drawing, action art; poetry, cultural and social journalism, art theory and criticism, methodology and implementation of social space shaping and theory of environmental perception.
