A pair of beautiful large double saltires made in the classicizing style at the end of the 19th century in the Parisian goldsmith's workshop of Edmond Tetard. Height 12 cm, width 16.5 cm, total weight 248 grams. Very good state of preservation, preserved natural patina of time. On the base and on the rim, the hallmark for French silver (Minerwa1) applied after 1838 and the goldsmith's workshop mark in the form of the name TETARD inscribed in a rhombus with the symbol of a teapot.
