A pair of officers' rock pistols made at the Boutet/Versailles manufactory between 1790 and 1800. The barrels with micro groove threading, the Manuf / Versailles factory mark is visible on the side of the breech plate, the LC marks inscribed in an oval in three places on the barrel are also visible, being the personal mark of the factory director Jean Nicolas Le Clerc. The pistols are large, heavy; length 38 cm. The guns are original with no signs of tampering or alteration, the locks in working order. They are offered in a magnificent wooden canteen with accessories (20th century accessories, secondary).
