Signature: bottom right corner A. Buczkowska Anna Buczkowska (born 1943) He specializes in artistic fabric, painting and collage. She graduated with honors in 1971 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in painting with professors: Eibisch, Jurkiewicz and Gierowski, and in the field of textiles - in the studio of professors Sadley, Śledziewska and Szamanski. She presented her works at several dozen individual exhibitions in Poland, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland, Japan and over 100 collective exhibitions. She is a three-time holder of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (1972, 1984, 1998). She also obtained a scholarship from The Pollock Krasner Foundation in the USA. She is a laureate of many awards and distinctions, incl. Awards of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (1986), first prizes at the exhibition Weaving Workshop - Kowary, BWA, Wrocław 1992; Queen Fabiola's Grand Prix at the 6th International Lace Biennale, Brussels 1994. Many of her works are in museum collections and in numerous private collections in Poland and abroad.
