An exhibition of authentic art-deco interiors at the Mazovian Museum in Płock. Beautiful furniture designed by Julian Pietrzyk, engineer Edmund Brzozowski, carpets made to order by the Karol Buttner Sons factory from Bielsko, unique jewellery - all this makes up the permanent exhibition in the Mazovian Museum in Płock.
It is a very extensive exhibition covering three floors. The first two present exemplary interiors with original objects, while the third floor is a paradise for lovers of jewellery.
Art - deco, a style in which several innovative interiors are presented, was particularly popular in the 1920s and 1930s and originated as a counter to the richly decorated Art Nouveau. The gallery itself has one of the few examples of furniture, costumes and accessories made in the art-deco era.
