Futuristic museum is coming to Tokyo

Futuristic collective teamLab will unveil its own museum, to be built in Tokyo this summer, which will be oriented towards interactive and immersive artworks. The museum will be located in Palette town, which is part of a larger complex combining a shopping mall and a theme park.

The members profile the group as follows: "TeamLab is an artistic collective, an interdisciplinary group of ultra technologists whose mission is to trace a common moment in art, science, technology, design and the natural world. The group consists of artists, programmers, engineers, animators, mathematicians and architects. The aim of teamLab is to explore new relationships between people and nature through art. Digital technologies have made it possible to free art from physical constraints. We see no boundaries between us and nature; we are nature and nature is us. It all adds up to a long, fragile but amazing lifeline."
