Rafał Olbiński is a prominent Polish painter, graphic artist, illustrator, and stage designer, known as one of the leading representatives of the Polish School of Poster Art. He was born in 1943 in Kielce , where he developed his artistic interests in his youth. He graduated with a degree in architecture from the Warsaw University of Technology, which influenced his later work, combining architectural elements with painting.
Olbiński served as the editor-in-chief of the prestigious magazine *Jazz Forum*, reflecting his deep interest in musical culture. He lived in Paris for many years, and later in New York, where he taught at the School of Visual Arts, sharing his knowledge and experience with young artists.
His works have been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries around the world and are also part of private collections. Olbiński collaborated with many renowned publications, including *Newsweek*, creating illustrations that fused surrealism with deep symbolism.
